Default help on scanning for bad registry keys

I've been making a thesis for vb6 but all I can do is search all the registry keys and don't know if it's bad or good. can anyone please help me. I know that installers nowadays delete those registry keys if they are uninstalled. maybe my thesis is nonsense but then please help me. :(

What is the thesis?
What are you searching for (both 'why are you searching' and 'what do you hope to find')?
