I've got a thesis about scanning and deleting registry keys using vb6 but for now all i can do is scan all the registry keys and I cant figure out how to find those keys. Any help is appreciated. thanks!

You might try the Microsoft Utility REGCLEAN V4.1 if you're running Windows 95/98. There are also 3rd party Registry checkers available, such as Registry Clean Pro. I'd be careful to backup before using one though - Registry Clean Pro hosed the registry on one of my systems. The cleaners are primarily useful for eliminating orphan keys.
