Default Background Image for Different Resolutions

Hi, all,
I have a program that need to have a image as background, how to make the background image fit different resolutions and different size of window?
I create a image with size: 1024x768, one for 280x800, and another is 1280x1024, part of the image in my laptop is hidden, but if I run it in a computer with larger monitor, everything is fine.
How can I make it fit all the cases? is it possible to just use one image instead of creating different one for different resolution?

Waiting online.

Thank you very much!
