I was just asked "so, you've used SRS?", and I described the few reports I'd done (various formats of invoices), that one of them was a subreport, that they'd had a different header logo depending on a value, the body with totals, and footers, and that the nightly invoice process rendered them programmatically. You might mention how they compare to Access or Crystal reports (easier, cleaner, IMO). For technical questions, I can recommend Wrox's SRS 2005 book, which, admittedly, was the only SRS book in the bookstore I went to, but I like it a lot.
