Default powershell wss_content error

hi, i am a newbie to both sharepoint and powershell. i would really like your help please.

i just have only one web aplication which is also my central admin web app, each time i type this command Get-SPFeature -Site http://severname i get the error below

"Get_SPFeature cannot open database "WSS_Content" requested by login. The login failed"

is there any command to pass the login information ? or is the command wrong
