Default Monitor DML events

Hello all,

I want to monitor all the DML operations done on all the tables of a specific Schema . Is this possible ? If yes how can it be done ?

                   Thank You.

Regards,
Somu

First, what database are you on? Oracle? SQL Server? Something else?

Second, do you include SELECT statements in the set of things you want to monitor, or merely INSERT, UPDATE, and DELETE statements? Do you want to see before & after images of data, or do you merely want to know that user Jane updated table Inventory at 11:05 PM?

Third, what sort of monitoring are you envisioning? Do you want to be able to do proactive monitoring-- querying an audit table to see whether there is anything unexpected going on-- or are you merely interested in reactive monitoring-- being able to determine who deleted 10,000 records from an important table after the problem has been resolved, for example?
