setup error

sometimes when I setup SQL 2000 the operating system(win 2000 professional) show error messages:
Command Line option syntax error TYPE Command/? for help

when it end . sometimes the SQL can run well,but others the system show:
failing to initialize the management unit name Microsoft SQl enterprise manager CLSID:{00100100-1816-11D0-8EF8-00AA0062C58F}

What can I do when it fail to run
