Hi, how can i make records to be encrypted? I'm using vb6 then if i input records I need some field to be encrypted when i checked it to the [u]sql database</u>. Is there a similar things to do like in access? all i have to do is change the type of fields to password so when i retrieve the record in vb6 the output field is '*******'. But i can't do it in sql.

I dont think access does that. You got to do that from your Client-side. There are many such logics. You can create your own.

You can search on google too on this. You will find a lots of results there.
