Default SQL Server

Hi

I have SQL server at my branch at different location, how am I going to connect to that SQL that can running as usual as there such as the speed. I can connected and open their DTS and run it but i found that it is take some time to open one DTS and execute it. may i know any other method can I open at my place?

Hello Jane,

May I know what do you want to exactly do on the remote SQL server ? If you need only create databases and edit them, there are many remote administration tools for SQL server. Here is one from Microsoft itself.

However the speed will not be top. This will depend on where this tool is hosted. (The tool is actually an asp.net web application)

This requires you to setup one .net server. .net framework is free and is available in many magazine CDs.
