Unable to run script of sqlserver 2005 in 2000

hi all,
i want to covert my sql server 2005 database to 2000. it seems too easy at first sight, but still i'm getting error. i tried it by generating script for the database in a query file and i used that file in sql server 2000. but it is not working. i have tried database backup and restore also. but still i'm not getting the solution. anybody can help??

Hi there,

The two database systems are not 100% compatible. Backup and restore won't work for sure...

Scripting might work, as long as you strip off all 2005 specific features, like the new (n)varchar(MAX) datatype.
