I have problem with bulk insert. I had used bulk insert to load
data from flat file (text file) to sql server table.
But now format of file is changed.
so is there any option in bulk insert in which i can specify
starting point to read from text file. search for specific word in text file and read from that line.
You can use a DTS process to read in the file and then send it off to the various tables but the file format must be consistent, e.g. all data elements must be delimited by a , or ;
