Default rownum field in sql server

hi,

there is rownum field available in sql server ?
I have a table contract
and contract table field are
contractno
contractid
contractname

How I can find contract table rownum value ?
so that I could search record by the help of rownum.

As far as I know...SQL Server does not support rownum

There is no such concept as a rownum in SQL Server.

A rownum implies some sort of physical ordering of the rows in a table, and by definition, table rows are unordered.
