Default Database call my app??
Hello,
I have a .net application which connects to sql database.
how can i make the database to call the application automatically when a certain time is due.

Why do u need to call it from database only? can't you call it from another application or background process which is running all the time?

The database can't "call" the application. However, in SQL Server 2005 I can think of several ways you could possibly do this, but not in SQL Server 2000.

However, having said that, a database doesn't typically "call" an application. Maybe if you supplied the reasoning behind this necessity we could offer some better solutions.
