Hi Method!
If u are new to MSAccess and u have knowledge of any programming language try
reading Evan Callahan, Microsoft Access 2002 Visual Basic for Applications Step
by Step.If u have no knowledge of any language let me know to recomend a more

The best book for beginners to Access is Alison Balter's Mastering Access Desktop Development. Find it at Amazon. It starts at the beginning and works all the way through to sophisticated solutions.

Then when you want to do some VBA, get the Wrox Beginning Access VBA book.

Hi Mmcdonal !
I agree Alison Balter's is a good basic book. Although Wrox Beginning Access VBA
edition 2002 was sold without a reliable revision and it took me months to
get some profit after being disapointed with missing files, etc. In the mean time
i've been reading Access 2002 VBA Handbook by Sybex that i have found of great
help for learning VBA before going to Access 2002 Desktop Handbook which is
the complete reference for advanced MSAccess users.

I would say yes. There are some improvements on Access 2002 but not for a beginning stage and the possibility of Access 2000 books be out of print is
an important subject to be considered. Although u should remember that there
are used books libraries that trade used books in good conditions either
of price and conservation. U should look at amazon.com.
