Default IIS Web Service

I want to thank you for your time and patience before I pose probably a stupid question.

I am not an IT guy.

I am trying to Upsize an Access DB to SQL 2005 and am having a problem.

When I Installed SQL Server 2005 it notified me that I did not have the IIS WorldWide Web Service. All I want to do is transfer my program to the server.

I am installing SQL server 2005 on Windows XP SP2 before i get the SBS to see how it works.

Am approaching this the wrong way?

Hi,

IIS is not required to upsize an Access database. The only reason you would need IIS is when you are doing SQL endpoints.

You should be able to upsize your Access database without a problem. IIS is not needed for that.
