Hi, I am trying to view a 'structured' bill of materials which has two fields, bomparent and bomchild - and i want to report down the tree from any given bomparent. I've done this before with oracle sql, but in sql server I don't think there is a "start with" equivalent when using connect.

Can anyone offer an alternative?

Jsut to add: I have tried using nested tables, but the depth of the tables would need to be flexible and possibly greater than 15.
