Default Index On Table In VB6

Hi,

I have a database ,It has more data so when i run(execute)
a Select command, it took more time.

I need a very fast way to catch some data from database
and show the result of search to the user.

I'm vb programer and I use MS Access 97,2000 and MS SqlSqever 2000.

What is your SELECT statement? Can you post that here?

If using mssql server, index the table properly.
