Email on max step failure

Hi,

I'm trying to get DTS to send an email using 'Send Mail Task' if a tasks maximum step limit has been exceeded.

I get an email if the maximum error count is set at 0.
But, if I have 10 maximum error count, and this is exceeded, the task fails, but the email doesn't get sent.

Any ideas as to what I can do?
