Default User Interface Problem

Hi I'm relatively new to VB programming. I am designing an application which has a windows media player that stores the users songs in it and I also want to add a text box along side it where the user can type in the lyrics or their own notes. I can save each of these individually but I don't know how to save the application so that when the user opens it again, the text they typed and the mp3 files are there.

Do I have to somehow incorporate these two items together? What type of file will save both of these formats?

Please can someone help!

Thanks
