I creat one soft using VB6 I used Ms-Access to creat my database before . But now I think it's very disadvance I think SQL server is really good for my software but I get a big problem with SQL server lisence I have not enough money to purchase it .
I think VB can connect to mySQL database . Anybody can help me or answer my question : Can VB6 get connection to mySQL database ? If yes , Please tell me how to make connection ?

These questions and many more are answered in detail on the MySQL website. Have a look at www.mysql.com. You are probably after MySQL Connector/ODBC, whose documentation includes samples of how to connect to and use MySQL databases from VB.
