get all running processes in all windows OS

HI friends:) !!
I'm working on VB6.0 and stucked in one problem.I wanna know all processes running.For it I used PSAPI.DLL(For NT ,2K,XP) and KERNEL32.DLLs ToolHelp(for 9x and ME)..But I got a problem ..It works fine ..but I wanna do the same thing without using PSAPI.DLL..
Antbody can help me?
