Default TopMost Property

I have a bunch of data grids on one form that allows the user to set the TopMost property. Users interact with the application primarily in another form. When a user interacts with the this other form, it updates information in the grids but of the top most property is set to TRUE, it suddenly goes to FALSE when the data grid is updated.

Any idea why this happens and any workarounds?
