Default VB.NET in Foreground and MS Access in Background

You will find a project (http://forums.devshed.com/attachmen...tachmentid=7435) that I am working on right now. Please have a look. Since I am going to manipulate the data ( inserting, deleting, updating etc.), I am planning to use MS Access in the background or simple text file so that I can store the data. I would like know your opinion about what would be the best way to approach.

Thank you.
