Datagrid Update only

Is there a way to prevent users from inserting and deleting items in a datagrid and only allowing them to update?

Sure. I did it by implementing the datagrid's currency manager. From there, you can set the currency mananger's properties such as AllowNew(), AllowUpdate() and AllowDelete() to true or false depending on your needs.
