Default Programmatical "Pick-n-Play" for MP3

Hi, Folks!
It's been a while (nearly a year) since I last stuck my head in here, and got a GREAT response that got me "over the hump" in a project I was working on then (Thanks, mmcdonal!), so...

Now I'm trying to solve another one.... Select and play a specific media file (format doesn't matter much to me... WAV or MP3 would be equally fine) from a VBScript program... The input to make the "which file" decision will be via a serial interface that's not
been sorted out yet, but... I gotta start somewhere!

Is there such a thing as a "play media file" object? method?

Thanks again for listening!
