Default connecting the Equipment through Visual basic 2005

I have an Equipment from a company it has coordinator and router can someone please tell me how to create a program in visual Basic 2005 for the coordinator ,so that it can be connected to the router via RS232 plssssssss some one help me... :(

does is have a serial port(9 pin) or ethernet

In that case you need to use the serial port drap and drop icon in the components toolbar in the toolbox. As far as the coding goes you need to find out what type of connection you should use for the device. I would advise trying to setup a hyperterminal connection to the device and then transfering the connection settings to VB. I have included a few websites that have serial port coding examples.
