There are several standard answers to your question. First I would want to know:

1.) Are you now programming in some capacity as a part of your job?2.) Do you have prior programming experience with any other languages?

Best Regards,
Earl Francis

Yes i have little knowledge in programming in vb6 and also in vb.net 2003, but the problem is i stock-up on being a begineer, its hard for me to continue learning the .net because as of now i work with MACRO (MS OFFICE), they mixed on my mind... are a professional programmer? i just want to know more about the .NET Framework.... Hope the Author of Beginning VB>NET 2005 help me on this.

It all takes time. You need to get experience, and this can be done with "baby steps" - that is continual, very small steps. A book or two is helpful, but it can be even more useful to find someone near-by who doesn't mind helping. There are progrmaming groups all over the world where people meet - some beginners, some advanced, and everything inbetween. It would be good for you to look into that.

There is a book forum here and you might be able to get in touch with the author you are asking about.
