Default MSSQL 2005 and MSSQL 2000

Hi all...

I have a problem with this MSSQL 2005. I am using vb.net 05 and i had installed SQL 05 that was along with VB.NET developer edition. But then I have uninstalled it and now installed MSSQL 2000. But whenever I try to make connection to the sever, it says 'connection to sql server 2005 failed etc etc'...

I have checked the Client Network Utility in 2000 and TCP/IP is enabled. I don't know what to do for it. Please help me.
