hi every one thanks for helping me. I have ms access database, i want to convert it into excelsheet(.xls) format. is it possible through coding in visual studio 2005

You can convert the MS Access database to Excel using multiple ways:

1) Use QueryTable in Excel and link it to Access table. You can break the link later if you want

2) Use ADO.Net datatables to get the data into Excel

All the above will import one table at a time
