.net 3.5 application and .net 4 on client

Hi,

I would like to know what append if a program is develop under .net 3.5 and .net 4 installed on the client (server 2008 R2).

It tried that and seems to work, but in some cases, I "appicationName" has stopped working popup when the appication terminates.

Could it be related with the fact the the .net 3.5 framework is missing on the server?
