i've visual studio 2005 pro. edition
but many a times(90%) when i run an application it gives the following error message:
"This applcation has failed to start because MSVCP80.dll was not found.Re-installing the application may fix the problem.
Well i'm a bit newbie to this environment and completely naive. i've already installed visual sudio 3 times but to no avail.

Please help me and also tell me what is the differnece between c++ and visual c++.
i think visual c++ includes standard c++ and also windows programming?
please help
