Default use VC to access 3ds max object

Is there any interface through which the VC++ can operate those graphic object(like a puppet,a tank,a teapot)created by 3ds max
i.e any .dll .lib or API to achieve that exist

you can find plugin wizards for VC6 and VC7 in the downloads section of discreet's website:

http://sparks.discreet.com/downloads/

i believe you can also get some help files there as well. while i don't have 3ds max, it's my understanding that the cd comes with an SDK you can install- my guess is the SDK will install these plugin wizards and the help for you if you have the right versions of VC++.
