Default VC++6 crashes when compiling

My problem is the following. When I create a new MFC AppWizard(exe) and the compiler builds the application the complete VC++ crashes giving an error on line 3065. Looks like it has something to do with MSDEV.EXE the error code gives the following
6.0.8168.2
mod name: MSVCRT.DLL
Hope anyone can help me. Because I can't do anything with my VC++ application.
:(
i'm new in programing in VC++ so i'm not sure on what is wrong. I'm used to programming in VB.
