Default recording sound

Hi,

I am making a PC based telephone answering machine.
how the incoming call are recorded in PC based telephone answering machine.I mean can anyone tell me the code for that part(recording incoming calls) in vc++.

Hardware required is connected to sound card and using Parallel port for other purpose
So please help me

If your making use of TAPI to make this application
then you must be having platform sdk with you.
Just have a look at AnsMachine sample in the TAPI
samples. This sample records the messages as I
remember in mono wave format.
