Default Books Online?

Whenever I start up Visual C++, I get a message telling me that Books Online is not where it is expected to be. It comes up with a window prompting me to type in a path under D:, and, if I try to plug in C: instead, it tells me that this drive is invalid. I can find nothing at all on Microsoft's website about this Books Online I'm supposed to be able to access. As I've come to some problems with my help file since I unwisely updated my MSDN, (well, actually, only greyed out catagories, no help at all) I was wondering if this could be of help. If I could find it.

Feeling very computer illiteerate. Please help if you can, someone!
