Question How to Implement HD video recording using DirectShow.?

Hi,

I am using DirectShow to Play / Pause / Stop and Capture Video files. But Capturing and playing of video files is simple. I want to Implement HD Video recording in my application.

Anybody have any idea of how to Implement HD Video Capturing.

Which codecs, filters or any particular device will be required.

Also whenever I play any HD video in my application, it is not of the same quality as compared to when I play in any other software.

Regards,
Mbatra
