Hello,

I can't get Visual Studio .NET 2005 beta 1 and SQL Server 2005 beta 3 without there being issues between the two. They both require their own version of the .NET framework 2 beta, and then the other problem doesn't work correctly. Should I install VS.NET 2005 and then install a later build? Where can I get the newest build?

Brian: I think right now the only solution is to use VS.NET 2005 Beta 1 with SQL Server 2005 Beta 2. I don't know of other combinations that have compatible Framework versions.
I'm hearing that VS.NET 2005 beta 2 and SQL Server 2005 Beta 3 will work together when they are both available, but we'll have to wait and see on that won't we?

Yeah, OK, I was wondering if one of the CTP's would be compatible... since they would have a recent release, but I fear not.

Brian: Check the new CTPs of VS 2005/SQL Server 2005 that just posted to MSDN Universal. I hear they work together.
