Hi,

Recently i ran into a problem while running my windows application in windows vista system.Application contains a "report viewer" UI screen and contains "CrytalReportViewer". Whenever i tried to open a "report viewer" window in my application , it displays "Database authentication" dialog which asks for server and user information to connect.

My application saves DB connection string information inside local user settings folder as follows:C:\Documents and Settings\Pratik Manandhar\Local Settings\Application Data\CMSPOP\CMS-POP.vshost.exe_StrongName_04iselrwjvtlmycgk3bzn1tf bmhtegly\6.0.7.2\user.xml. As Vista OS poses many security validations, i doubt above xml file is not allowed to be rewritten with connection string information and since crytal report viewer uses the same connection string information which could not be rewritten and is empty is creating the above problem.
