Default No ASPNET account

When I try to grant permissions to the ASPNET account to access the example database I get a message: "An object named "ASPNET" cannot be found." What does this mean? Do I need to have an ASPNET account. I was able to grant permissions to NETWORK SERVICE.

Hi there,

What version of Windows are you using? Why do you think you need to set the ASPNET account (it's quite possible, but it depends on the version of Windows).

Maybe this helps: http://imar.spaanjaars.com/QuickDocId.aspx?quickdoc=395
