Desktop shortcut blinks

Hello,

i am developing a Setup project for a program i have developed.
I have added a shortcut on Users Desktop. When installed though, the shortcut icon blinks when double-clicked. For a second or two, it changes it's picture with some other and then shows it's original picture again.

Do you know why does that happen?
