Default Uploading files on the remote server

Newbie - My vs.net project works fine as IIS application on my local machine.

Which files I have to upload on the remote server (Shared hosting enviornment-Verio)

web.config, my_webform.aspx,my_webform.aspx.vb,my_webform.aspx .resx, global.asax, global.asax.vb,global.asax.resx,styles.css,webappl icaton.vbproj, webapplication.vbproj.info

Also in the bin folder I have.dll and .pdb file do I have to upload both of them

Please advise. Thanks in advance

Hello,

You have to copy the files in your virtual directory, bin folder and all. The .dll files you need because they contain the code in the code-behind file, and any other classes/modules. The .pdb file is created because the project configuration is set to debug and not release mode.

Oh, also, you may want to verify that the folder on the remote server is a virtual directory also, and is configured properly, so you don't have any problems with that.
