sir/madam
   i m a software professional working as a trainee in Sapient
   for the last 3 days i m trying to install .net on my system which is having 40 gb hard disk ,120mb RAM,celeron 1100 processor
 i have 2 operating system one is Windows 98 and other is Windows 2000 professional installed on my system
 i think all of these thing fullfilling the .net installation software and harware requirments but when ever i tried to install it it took more than 24 hrs and still it is not demanding 2 cd (i have 5 cds of .net) i m not understanding what wrong in it
 would u plz help me out

    Ur RAM is the Problem.Microsoft recommends for 256MB RAM.Your machine has got 128 MB only.That is why it is very slow.Even i faced the same problem when i tried to install with 128MB RAM.Change the RAM to 256MB and start install.It wont take more than 2 hours.
