Default Web.Config Settings

Hi Friends!

I want to know is there some way by which I can dynamically modify the attributes of a tag in Web.Config file. Basically, I need to assign a value to "Timeout" attribute of the "sessionState" tag dynamically from my Web page. Is there any way???

Any help will be appreciated.

TIA
debsoft

cheers,

I hate to ask this but why do you want to modify the session timeout? Session is a site wide object. Why does one page want to mess with it?

As far as how to do that:
In the code of an ASPX you can access that property directly:

Session.Timeout
