Default Validation

Hello Folks,

In my web Page i am having to buttons submit and reset.I also have around 6 textboxes for each and every textbox i placed a validation control.

The problem is if i press submit button the page is getting validated and if i press reset button also the page is getting validated

How to disable the validation for reset button.1 method is to disable each and every validation control in reset button. But i wanna know is there any other method directly to disable validation controls when i press refresh button.

Hi there,

You can set the Reset button's CausesValidation property to False.

This way the Reset button does not trigger the validation.

Cheers,

Imar
