Default Upgrade Question

Ok, nobody on any other forum will answer this simple question. Ive just updated from vs.net 2002 pro to vs.net 2003 EA. In add/remove programs, it shows that both are still present and each are taking over 1000 megs. Can I safelty delete 2002?

Yes, as far as I know you can. Visual Studio 6, .NET 2002 and .NET 2003 were designed to run side by side without problems. 2002 should not depend on 2003.

But why do you want to remove it? It may be of good use if you have to create an "old shool" .NET 1.0 application....

I didnt really have much choice. Im using a laptop with only a 20G hard drive. I had only 200 mb left after both were installed.

Ah, right, I see.
In that case, you should be able to uninstall without a problem.

Please keep us updated if you *do* run into problems ;)
