I have trying to insert a field in the document which is a chechbox, however once I am done, there is no checkbox at all. Somebody please help me,

You can insert check box into Word Document in the following ways

1. Insert Checkbox from Visual Basic Tool Bar
2. Insert Checkbox from Forms Tool Bar

Position the cursor in the place where you want to insert the checkbox

You can check that using ActiveDocument.FormFields(1).Type = wdFieldFormCheckBox
