Hi there,

Please look at the first two questions on the Download Code page that you can find here: http://www.wrox.com/dynamic/books/download.aspx and then follow the links to the FAQs.

The answer to your question is in there.

What may not be in there (clear enough) is that Wrox went under a while ago. Some of the books and the brand name Wrox have been bought by Wiley. Other books went to Apress. So, you should take a look at the APress site for the code download.

Cheers,

Imar

And then I would post a "Yeah, couldn't agree more" answer ;)

What are people who can't read doing with a book, anyway....

Although I still think the FAQ could explain in some more detail that old Wrox went under. I mean, if you read carefully, you should be able to figure it out, but IMO it could be clarified a bit more.

Ya know I don't work for WROX- but I tell you what, I don't know tht I would want it clearer- Plugging that you can go buy books from another publisher isn't probably high on the Wiley list of "Things to do today"

And Imar would lose 30 posts per day if it was too clear. :)

Yeah, true. But instead of saying: "Hey, go to our competitors for the source code", they could add something like "Well, we bought some of the books, but not all. We cannot support the books that we didn't buy".

That would clarify a couple of things.

Then again, as we said before, the problem is probably not with the text on the FAQ pages. The problem is with people's inability or unwillingness to read and to try to figure it out themselves......

Exactly- People just don't want to read. Which get's back to- why did they buy a book?
