Hi!
I have a xslt for .xml->.txt and in xml a value <v>12.34</v> and when i retrive value with a "<xsl:value-of select=//root/v" and in some cases i asign a variable and call its value "<xsl:value-of select=$variable" and i get: "12.3399999999" ...xslt converts it automaticly to float and this corrupts my output(.txt). how could i convince xslt to use "12.34" as decimal or as string ?

The value will only be converted to floating point if you do arithmetic on it. If you want the result of the arithmetic to be rounded, use the format-number() function, for example format-number($x, '#.00') if you want two decimal places.
