Default Change namepace on document

I am wondering if there is any way to change the default namespace on a document without changing all the children elements

When you say "without changing all the children elements" it's not clear what you mean. Do you mean you want the children still to be in the old namespace, or do you mean you want them to have no namespace declarations (which means they change to be in the new namespace), or do you mean that you don't want to do any explicit processing of these elements to effect the transformation? As always, it would be so much easier to understand the requirement if you showed sample input and output.

Whatever you want to do, however, a simple 1- or 2-template XSLT stylesheet will do the job without fuss.
