Default Upgrade from dao350 to dao360

I am working on a database access program buy using Visual C++ 6. By default, the compiler will assigne dao350 library to the program. Since dao350 can work only with Access 97, I plan to upgrade my program from using dao350 to using dao360. Anybody can give me a guidence how to make this upgrade?

Many thanks.

Roger

You can download the dll from the link below and steps to register and check are given there.

To be more safe, you can download the Jet 4.0 Service pack (SP8) from microsoft site and install the same.

Vijay:

Thank you for response. I have dao360.dll and jet4.0 in my computer already. My problem is how to switch from dao350 to dao360 INSIDE the VC 6 compiler.

Roger,

I am not so good at VC++(I had worked on it some 5 yrs back - VC++ 4;)), so I am trying to give you some info on it, but can't test it myself here as I dont have VC installed in mine.

See here is what MS says on "PRB: Unrecognized Database Format Error with Access 2000 Database"
http://support.microsoft.com/default...NoWebContent=1

You can also see this link, should be of some help.

(Also you can find a link to MS site KB article there in)

Hope that Helps.
Cheers!
